To charm (nail) a snake or any other hazardous animal so that it does not move:
Take some dry pebbles, recite
اِنَّھُمْ یَکِیْدُوْنَ کَیْدًا
وَّاَکِیْدُ کَیْدًا
seven times and blow on the pebbles. Throw these on the snake; it would not move from its place.
